One Community Garden was founded in 2012 and grows vegetables for Action Ministries' soup kitchen.
One Community Garden at Young Harris United Methodist Church depends on volunteers from UGA, the faith community and children's camps. It's an educational experience for the volunteers, and all the food goes to Our Daily Bread community kitchen. 
UGA service ambassadors put a lot of sweat into prepping and planting the garden each year. 
One Community Garden produces around 20 pounds of fresh vegetables each week in summer.
